Lemon's Coffee
A historic courtyard, with a lemon twist.
We started filming Lemon's as it opened: a menu shoot on day one, a first reel called 'We're open'. Between March and August 2026 came 16 shoot days, 29 reels and 141 stories. Then we carried the courtyard, the lemons and a 149-item menu onto lemons.coffee, a website that speaks Turkish, English and Russian.

Starting point
Lemon's is a café in a historic courtyard a few steps from Trabzon's main square. There are lemon trees, open air, sun by day and lights in the evening. But it sits down a side street, where a first-time visitor will not find it easily.
The brief was short: a summer feeling, the historic courtyard, the lemon trees, and a viewer who thinks 'I should go there'. Bar preparation was not to take the spotlight. As a new venue it needed awareness first, then a steady weekly flow of content.
What we did · Production
- 01
Directions first
Two location reels: from the square into the side street, past the Lider sign and into the courtyard, 'Already here.' Finding the place became the first part of the story.
- 02
Making trends fit the brand
We put together a reference file of café videos from around the world, then adapted the running, picking-the-music, text, coffee-pour, newspaper, photo-swap and drawing formats to Lemon's courtyard.
- 03
Menu and product
Three separate menu shoot days. Reels for the San Sebastian, the carrot cake and the ice cream; the product photos we shot are also used in the café's QR menu.
- 04
Hours of the day
'Morning, noon, evening' and 'Night to day': the courtyard's light changes through the day and the content follows it. 141 stories, 81 posts and 30 covers, shot on Sony A7S III, A7 IV, DJI Avata 2, Air 3 and DJI Mic.

What we did · Brand identity
Lemon's already had a logo: a word set in Playfair Display with a lemon in place of the O. Their story templates used Montserrat, yellow grounds and handwritten accents. We built the site from those files.
We lifted the logo's lemon from the vector paths inside the PDF, so it became a shape that can grow, turn and be cut. The colours came from the logo, the story backgrounds and the QR menu's design. We keyed the lemon branches out of the 'Pick your side' story and use them as illustrations. The brush script in their stories has no Cyrillic, so we chose Great Vibes, which also works in the Russian version.

Cut-outs
What we did · Website
Four pages in three languages: home, menu, courtyard and visit. The home page opens with a lemon portal: the O in LEMON'S is the logo's lemon. The courtyard plays inside it, and as you scroll the lemon grows until three vertical reels fill the screen. In 'This is not a lemon' you tap to cut the lemon cake open; 'What time do you love Lemon's?' recolours itself for morning, noon and evening.
The menu is built for phones: choose by mood ('Cool me down', 'Sweet tooth'), a category rail, search, an allergen exclusion filter, a list view and a detail card for every item. We wrote a description for each of the 149 items. We read the menu from the café's QR menu, checked its allergen declarations against the recipes and gave the café a checklist. The visit page shows whether it is open right now and walks you down the side street step by step.
